Specialist Event Security
You may already have a security supplier and we are in no way trying to undermine or replace the services provided by this company, Defensa's specialist services are deployed to compliment your existing security infrastructure where specialist skills are required. The information collected and documented by our staff is used to develop and define the way your events may operate in the future.

Defensa staff have for many years operated overtly & covertly within the event security arena with most of its personnel coming from military or specialist security backgrounds. It is with great pleasure that Defensa are now able to offer specialist teams to attend your event to assist in the following areas:

Intelligence gathering
Intelligence gathering can be done for a number of reasons, and can also be utilised concurrently with our covert specialists, these individuals attend the event as members of the public, this includes the purchase of tickets & joining event related forums prior and post event to standing in line waiting for gates to go green and camping if applicable. Their roles and deployments are varied, from isolating potential trouble makers, assisting in the infiltration of drug syndicates and delivering scheduled reports on the general public’s demeanour and activities. These highly specialist teams are experienced professionals whose backgrounds include “14 Intelligence” the military covert intelligence group & COP “Close Observation Platoon”.

Covert Security Specialists
Drugs are now common place within the event scene and although the general stance has become that class B narcotics are generally accepted on a personal level the rise in class A and the lengths the hard-line dealers and syndicates are prepared to go to are becoming a major problem. Our intelligence teams are covert and work closely with the police, they are able to gain crucial intelligence into the operation and future development of such organisations and document evidence allowing convictions to be made. These covert teams are experienced professionals whose backgrounds have include “14 Intelligence” the military covert intelligence group, COP “Close Observation Platoon”, British SF “Special Forces” personnel & ex police undercover specialists.

Spotters
These individuals have a wealth of knowledge within event security and risk management and can be overt or covert, their function is to pass intelligence back to control on the crowds dynamic during ingress & egress or any time during the event where heavy migration may occur. They can advise on potential flash and pinch points or can assist during a critical incident being called.

Extraction Teams
Our extraction teams are there to assist during any incidence of extreme violence, the removal of individuals believed to be involved in drugs related activities or the segregation of individuals or groups that are posing a threat to the event or customers safety.

There is no cross pollination between the covert and intelligence gathering teams with other departments as their identity needs to remain low profile and out of the public eye, I must stress that neither the covert or Intelligence teams will assist in the removal or detention of patrons from your event, but will liaise with your contracted security supplier, the police or your nominated point of contact should this be required. Should a team member become compromised he/she will be extracted and replaced at the earliest opportunity as not to contaminate further investigations or tasks.

All company reports give detailed event information that is confidential to the event organiser or nominated third party, the upmost discretion is maintained ensuring our “for your eyes only” policy is maintained throughout. By understanding and acting upon the contents of such documentation allows for steady progression not only in the way security is deployed at your events, but can, in some cases underpin the planning and delivery of future events.
